Designing with Your Dog in Mind

Designing with Your Dog in Mind

M&Esnuggle

As many of you know, Michael is Enzo’s devoted dog dad, so it was important to him that Mission Loft be completely dog friendly, “He’s really a member of the family, so I was constantly taking into account his needs while designing my space.”

To ensure Mission Loft is always ready for Enzo and his pals, here are five dog friendly design tips Michael recommends.

Tip #1

Invest in a cowhide rug.

They are wear resistant, don’t absorb dirt, and are very easy to clean with soap and water.

Tip #2

On those days when guests come over, keep your pups toys hidden away in plain site in a woven basket.

Tip #3

If your dog is like mine, he will sneak up on the furniture if I leave him alone in the house.

Have a couple of dark colored blankets within easy reach to cover your white couch and comforter - problem solved!

Tip #4

Dog beds aren’t very attractive to look at, especially if your dog likes them in each room.

Darker colored sheep skin rugs can make for great looking dog beds! Enzo loves his.

Tip #5

Keep your leashes on a hook in the hall closet.

Out of sight but easy to find and conveniently located when you’re ready to go out and have some fun!
